Brochure - The Metropolitan Museum of Art

This is the outside of the final brochure. I wanted the colors to fit the aesthetic of the Met Museum. They have very neutral colors, however they do have a red logo and red banners outside which I tried to mimic with the banner logo on the left corner. The background features a skyline view of New York City which is where the Museum is located. Featuring a few facts about the Met along with one of the sculptures featured, I wanted this to give a taste of what is to be viewed within the museum.
This is the inside of the brochure which features information on one of the exhibits. I envisioned this brochure being located at the entrance of this particular exhibit so that visitors can grab it and read it while walking through. It features the same minimalist color scheme, and a few of the sculptures within the exhibit. It features some information about the exhibit that might be nice for visitors to have a summary of the exhibit without having to read every sculptures signs.
The design brief for this project features all of the background information about the client, messaging, audience, etc. There are some pictures of the actual museum that were used as inspiration for the design.
These are a few of the different sketches that were created before the final brochure design.
